We did it

We did it! 

Not all of us, mind you, but approximately five hundred eighty seven of the one thousand one hundred and eight people who signed up to paint in February ended the month with a finished model. 

That's a fifty three percent completion rate, which is the lowest in this NaMoPaiMo history. That's disappointing to me, but not surprising. As much as I love NaMoPaiMo, it's become increasingly clear that this event needs a serious reboot. The current format simply is not sustainable.

But that's a topic for another day. Today, I want to join my fellow painters in appreciating all that we did - and didn't do - in February. Congratulations to all the winners, and thank you to everyone who painted with me!
