Weekend show report

Today my friend, Tiffany Purdy, attended the GLC Holiday Party/No Frills Show in Huntley, Illinois. She brought with her two brand new, hot-off-the-presses horses, Lady Beth and Jocelyn.

Lady Beth is a Breyer Astrid sculpted by Maggie Bennett and customized by Tiffany. She has three interchangeable manes held that are held in place with magnets.
Alas, for this show, only the braided mane was needed.
Tiffany has some forty Western bridles, and not one of them fit Lady Beth.
She didn't realize this until last night, so Lady Beth showed only in English.
No surprise, she was the English Performance Champion and Reserve Overall Performance Champion. Congratulations, Tiffany. Let's make that pony a bridle!
Tiffany's other new creation in Jocelyn. She is a Kylee Parks' Truly Jolie resin customized and painted by Tiffany.
Tiffany writes: I wanted a sweet draft mare for my draft performance set ups.
Jolie is really incredible I just a redid her neck to make her more performance friendly...
and added a bit of sassy tongue to show her character.
Jocelyn was Other Performance Champion. Congratulations again, Tiffany
Both of these horses were created with performance in mind, but that doesn't mean they aren't halter horses. In fact, nothing could be further from the truth. Lady Beth was the Reserve Overall Custom Champion...
and Jocelyn was the Overall Resin Champion.
Congratulations again again, Tiffany! I love your two new girls. Thank you so sharing all the photos.
