Buxton Christmas

Christmas came early for me this year.

Since then, life has been a little overwhelming, and I haven't been feeling much in the way of holiday spirit. That changed last night when James got here.

He came bearing gifts. Mine was a puzzle, which we put together after dinner.

I love making puzzles with James, and by the time we were done, I was feeling happily Christmas-y.

This morning we all slept in a little, then got up and opened the presents.

I got heated seats!

The gifting ended as it always does, with all the wrapping paper piled on Emma.

James' girlfriend, Maya, came over with more gifts. Then I think it was Ryan who said, "Let's go see our horse."

So we did.

I thought this was going to be a lackluster Christmas.

Instead, it was one of the best.

My heart is so full.
