NaMoPaiMo made its debut in February 2017.
It was the first event of its kind in the model horse hobby, and even before the month was over, a lot of similar months had been launched. They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, but I was more annoyed than flattered. I was like, "Could you at least wait until I'm done before you copy my idea?"
Anyway, that was 2017.
I've always wanted a small scale Wade saddle, and in many ways, now would be the perfect time. After all, I currently have a full scale version in my possession.
Unfortunately, I suspect this is going to be a complicated month. If I want to be successful - and I do - I need a more manageable project.
So instead of making Winslow's saddle, I signed up to create a smaller version of his bridle.
Generally speaking, Western bridles are easy for me.This one has enough fun details to make it moderately, but not impossibly, challenging.
Do I know how to make a three tiered tassel? No. Am I going to try? Yes. Will I be successful? Only time will tell!

That's awesome! You go girl!!! I will be cheering you on!!! 🎉🥳💕 (PamP)
ReplyDeleteI’m participating for the first time! I’ve only ever made a halter! Going for a bridle this month!
ReplyDeleteOh! Oh! Awesome! After all my writing about NaMo why didn't I think of this!! Welcome! Congratulations! (stop squealing...) The only reason I'm not entering is I'm deeply involved in my next book and it takes precedence over everything else; but I'll be watching!
ReplyDeleteCopy you..? 🤪
