Pictures from today's ride

Today I had the pleasure of going on a ride with my dear friend, Trisha, and my new friend (and Winslow's owner), Pam.

Pam rode Winslow, Trisha rode Kaffi and I rode Diana's best boy, Guaratanteed.

We took a few turns around the ring,

and then we hit the trail.

Even though I'd ridden him the day before, Kaffi was on fire. He and Trish were way out in front most of the way.

Winslow did not share his enthusiasm and was happy to take up the back.

This gave Pam lots of opportunities to take photos of me pointing at... something.

I have no idea what it was, but it must have seemed important at the time.

There were a few hiccups along the way - aren't there always? - but mostly, this was a really nice ride with three good horses and two absolutely fabulous people.

Another fabulous person, Karen, joined us for a post ride lunch at our favorite restaurant. This was a really good day and a much needed day. I hope we can do it again soon!
