Regan told me she wanted to meet Winslow, so yesterday, we made that happen.
She brought with her a pair of "easy for your skill level" tack projects, so after we put Winslow in the field, we headed back to my house so I could work on them.
Happily, the projects were, in fact, easy. The time passed quickly and I worked. Before I knew it, it was time to go back to the barn to bring Winslow and Kaffi in.
Regan and I used to ride together many, many years ago. It's good to see her out in a field full of horses.
We tucked the boys into their stalls, then drove back to the house. I finished the tack and we took everything downstairs for pictures.
Here's a simple new bridle made to match Regan's fifty year old Breyer saddle.
The model is Sunny, a palomino Family Arabian mare and Regan's second ever Breyer.I also made a new crown piece for this Western show halter so it would better Regan's Charity resin, which was sculpted and painted by Sheila Bishop.
Really pretty! While we were at it, I also snapped a few photos of one of Regan's sales horses.
This was a really fun day. Thanks for coming, Regan. I'm glad you got to meet Winslow!
