The sky was blue and clear when I arrived at the barn this morning.
I put Olympia in the field, then turned my attention to Olive.
It was a warm fifty one degrees, and she is shedding like a husky.
Before Olive joined Olympia in the field, I took her for a short walk. She snacked on the new grass that's just started coming up.
It was a perfect spring morning, if you could ignore those clouds gathering in the west.
Trust me, no one was ignoring them.
All week long the weather watchers have been shouting about the massive snow storm that's set to hit Denver tonight, tomorrow and early Friday.Normally, I would be all about this but, tonight and tomorrow are the main travel days for BreyerWest, and the Open Show happens Friday morning.
I just keep watching the skies and refreshing my Facebook feed.
People are leaving.People are arriving.

It's been a quiet, watchful and pleasant day.
The calm before the storm.
