BreyerWest Friday is all about the Open Show.
This year's judging team consisted of Kristen Cermele, Cheryl Ellison, Barb Ness, Heather Jackson-Lain, Meredith Sanders, Cynthia Wyatt Briley and myself.
I spent most of the day in the far corner of the BreyerWest area, presiding over a small but competitive performance division. Aaaah.
My tables were right next to the custom ring, so when I wasn't judging, I was ogling all the lovelies.So...
many...
lovelies!
After my division wrapped, I spent a little time walking around the hall,
looking at more lovelies...
and talking to people.

I only managed to take one picture of the Original Finish classes all day. Oops!I also checked in with James at the Stablemate Painting Booth a few times. He wasn't originally part of the BreyerWest staff this year, but was pressed into service after a last minute, weather related cancellation. It was really nice for me to see him there, helping people and interacting with my friends.

This was definitely one of the highlights of my BreyerWest! |

After the show was over, the staff was given their volunteer models. |

No one knew what they were so this was very exciting. I know there's video of the Great Unwrapping somewhere. If I can find it, I will add in. |

Suffice it to say, we opened our horses and found Blue Grass Bandit in two different shades of chestnut. |

Here's mine. Sooooo pretty! My day ended with a group dinner at BJ's in Aurora. I was too tired to take pictures, but thankfully, Jackie Rossi snapped this one!
