BreyerWest Thursday

The last time I was on the BreyerWest set-up crew was 2016. 

That was the first Erin Corbett BreyerWest, which was held in conjunction with the Northwest Horse Fair and Expo in Albany, Oregon.

There were just a couple of us that year, and if I remember correctly, Erin had already done most of the work by the time Leah and I arrived.

Oh, things have changed!

Nowadays, there is an entire army of volunteers moving tables and chairs,

sorting ribbons and prizes...

and setting up the Breyer booth.

That last part was especially fun.

In addition to all the regular run sales items...

the Breyer team also brought some special pieces for the silent auction...

and all of this year's BreyerWest special runs, minus the surprise of course.

It was so exciting seeing them in person...

This was a really fun day filled with people and ponies.

It was a lot of work, but it was the best kind of work.

And when we were done, the hall was ready for all the wonderful things that were going to happen over the weekend.
