Painting Party days seven and eight

We are a little more than a week into February, and the Painting Party is in full swing. Here's a little "Almost wordless Wednesday" sampling of what's happening in NaMoPaiMo land.
Sarabeth Barlas: Working with PearlX for the first time! Loving them!! Whites on the Earthquake and pinks on the Bean.
Lynne Penner: One side of my pony has been painted.
Tifaine Highly: The second coat of oils is on!
Christine Jordan: Shading spots, getting closer to done.
Gabby Salyers: This girl is now fully prepped and will be primed tonight!
Natalie Jarman: I have to redo his hooves and shade his mane, tail and eyes. Then he will be close to complete.
Abygael Rushton-Butler: Not sure if I’m going to strip him yet. Going to see how he goes this week and go from there.
Sandra Unden: Finally started painting last night.
Joshua Tooley: Shading and adding depth with layers. Close to mapping the Appaloosa blanket on his hindquarters (I think).
Jessica Hekman: The yellow stage!
Maddie Miller: First coat of oils!
Karin Hullatti: Definitely not painting.
Sue Rowe: Reminding self that some prepping is better than no prepping. After forty years of hunting for grinding heads in their container, I finally created a base for them out of a chunk of thin foam core. On to sculpting a flicked back ear and a flicked up tail base.
Caroline Spracklin: Terrible picture, but I finally got enough paint on this micro Poppyseed to start looking black-ish. She's going to be a blue roan, so I'll probably start adding some white soon.
Charlotte Davis: Still working away at her body color.. layer 7 I think?
Clarice Bone: He's in primer at least.
Tina DeCaussin: Prep, prime and have a plan for both of these now.
Mikayla Herrera: We've got spots.
Liz Venus: Getting somewhere... so close to starting hooves!! Ahh!
Jenny Jansson: I put some stripes on my unicorn.
Missy Shaw: Finally some (damn near invisible) pastel layers!
Meredith Conrad: Got my first pastel layer on!
Heather Bullach: This new format has been so perfect for me this year. In addition to my goal of finishing some pieces, I decided to try something new and sign up for Karen Beeson’s Appaloosa class this month. I’ve never been particularly drawn to appaloosas, but wanted to stretch myself and expand my appreciation for the color. Now this guy has pushed his way to the forefront of my large in progress list, including my official unofficial NaMoPaiMo pieces. I’m obsessed. Going from “not my favorite color” to “this is my favorite piece to work on right now” is a pretty solid NaMoPaiMo win in my book.
Trudi Clarke: Just the details and shadows left to do.
Tyler Rogers: I think I finished my whites, although I’m debating on doing one more layer of pigments. I can’t decide.
LoGeana Anderson: Shadow added and the top line darken slightly to add more depth to his coat color. Loving this silver dapple bay color on this guy. Hopefully later on tonight or tomorrow evening I'll be able to do the highlights. Then on to the fun part markings and figuring out how to do the mane and tail.
Shauna McDaniel: Twas a HoloDay!
Virginia Morgan: Working on the hair by hair roaning. He took a tumble last night but luckily the only thing that broke was his ear. Small repair.
Amanda Greave: Lightening up the lower legs and concluding that this colour is REALLY difficult to photograph.
Pam Ford: Today I discovered I am not done filling and sanding. Titan is in his spraying harness and got his first coat of primer.
Sarah Pavolko: I thought picking a few-spot pattern would save me some stress since I could focus on small areas of color - forgetting that I would still have to paint over the primer in white since some primers yellow over time.
