Three days

Since I will be away next week, I told my boss I'd be happy to work extra hours this week. She really took me up on that offer, which was both good and bad. The additional income is always welcome, but oh, I have fallen behind on everything!

Yesterday, I worked my last pre-BreyerFest shift. On Tuesday, I will board an airplane for the first time since the pandemic. That gives me three days to finalize my schedule, three days to check in with friends I am hoping to see, three days to find or buy everything I need for the the trip, three days to write a week's worth of blog posts.

It's a lot to do in not a lot in not a lot of time. I think I am up to the task.

But first things first. 

I need to go see my best girl. Everything else can wait.
