On the road with Tiffany Purdy

On Wednesday of BreyerFest week, Tiffany and I packed her Suburban to the roof and hit the road.
We drove south through Chicago.
Then it was on to Indiana.
Traffic was heavier than expected, due to an inexplicable amount of accidents.
After what seemed like forever, we shook free of the cities and got to the corn.
So much corn!
After hours of corn, we ducked into Ohio for a moment or three.
Then it was right back to Indiana. Why?
Finally, we made it to Kentucky.
And just like that, the drive got really pretty.
The miles passed quickly, and before we knew it, we were in Lexington.
Here's the last picture of the road trip. Behold the dubious majesty of the Clarion hotel!
According to Google Maps, this drive should take approximately six hours and fifty eight minutes.
Tiffany swears it's only five hours.
Either way, it was a really fast and fun trip. I've wanted to drive to BreyerFest with Tiffany for years. I'm so glad we finally did it!

P.S. There is video from the drive under the cut. It's full of swears, so not fit for tender ears. Click play at your own risk.
