Pictures from yesterday's ride

I usually try to ride on my birthday, but the weather hasn't cooperated today.

This wasn't unexpected, and Mary Jo and I had our plans accordingly. Instead of riding in the cold and snow, we went out yesterday when it was considerably warmer.

I rode Thunder, partly because I really like him...

but mostly because he is brave and surefooted and the conditions made that a priority.

Once we got past the mucky parts, the ride was really gorgeous.

I took a few pictures of Mary Jo and Scarlett.

 Then I handed her my camera and asked her to take a few of me. I really like this one.

She also took a couple with her phone.

This is my favorite because it shows me doing two of my absolute favorite things - riding and taking photos.

I'm still looking forward to the first ride of my fifties, but this was a great way to wrap up the decade of riding that was my forties.
