All about Archie

Tori's dog, Archie, is an eight year old miniature Dachshund.

That's basically the same age as Piper, but he is a lot more mature.

He puts up with our shenanigans because he's less than ten pounds and doesn't really have a choice a good sport.

Still, it's possible that going to the zoo is not his all-time favorite activity.

Heh.

Because he has short legs, Archie mostly rode in a baby carriage, getting out here and there for short walks and photos ops.

One of those short walks was across a rope bridge.

Piper and Tang pranced across this.

"Come on, Archie! You can do it!"

Archie said, no, he absolutely could not. 

With a whole crowd of people cheering him on, he finally walked part of it on his own.

Two adventure dogs and Archie.

That wasn't an anomaly. All day long, Piper and Tang did all the things, but Archie was the star.

Now don't get me wrong. Archie is cute.

He is really, really cute.

I like all dogs, but my preference is moderate body type with painty faces, upright ears and some degree of fluff. 

Foxes, basically.

If I were to see these three dogs at the zoo, I would be all over Piper and Tang. They are my type. They are adorable.

I guess that makes me an outlier, but because on this day, Tang was mostly overlooked and Piper was dang near invisible. No one cared about the foxes. This day was all about Archie.
