My phone pinged yesterday as we were driving through the Colorado mountains. I checked the screen and saw that I had a message from Fabian. In it, he told me that his beloved Fjord, Cisco had passed overnight.
In the same way that Olive was (one of) the hobby's mustang, Cisco was the hobby's Fjord.
I have so many pictures of him posing with...
and being ridden by hobby friends.
I had the pleasure of riding him several times...
in several...
different...
saddles!
He was the sweetest horse.
And he had the best hair.
We all loved him.
We all miss him.

ReplyDeleteOh no…😔 I really loved seeing him in your photos and know you had many adventures with him. My heart goes out to Fabian and all of you who knew and loved Cisco. You can just see his wonderful personality. I will never get over how amazing Fjords look, it’s like Mother Nature turned the job over to a fashion designer. Godspeed and enjoy those green pastures across the 🌈 Bridge, Cisco.
