Beyond and back

We drove home from Durango yesterday.

The drive was pleasant and uneventful.
I really enjoyed that trip.
On the home front, things picked up right where they left off, without missing a single beat.
Today was a productive mix of pony,
profession,
prepping...
and painting.
Weirdly, the model occupying the most of my time today was neither Raaja or Auron. Instead, it's little Taco, my failed 2022 NaMoPaiMo project. Perhaps my next studio post will be entitled, "Embracing my ADD."
I kid, but any progress is better than no progress. Plus, I'm having fun, which is actually the important thing.
I do plan to write a few more words about the road trip, but that probably won't happen until I have a day with a little less time devoted to four P's, whenever that may be.

  1. Fun is definitely the most important thing about NaMo! Curiously the book I just finished reading features a horse named Taco. (27-ingredient chili murders by Nancy Pickard.)
That is a very intriguing photo from above Sage...
