For the last three plus weeks, this blog has been all contest entries, almost all the time.
That's all well and good, but other things have happened during that time.
I have some catching up to do.
Taylor's good mare, Kourvy, was due to foal in May. She didn't.
The first week of June came and went. No foal. The second week of June came and went. Still no foal. By the third week, things were getting worrisome. Experts were consulted, and it was decided that Kourvy should go to Fort Collins to have her baby in the hospital. She came back a week later with the littlest, tiniest, most perfect filly I have ever seen.
She was purchased by one of the boarders, who is calling her Kalypso.
I'm still calling her Wee.
The filly - who is looking more black and less buckskin every day - is still available.
Look at her.
She is so wee.She was purchased by one of the boarders, who is calling her Kalypso.
I'm still calling her Wee.
I'm so glad she'll be staying here. I look forward to watching her grow up.
Her two older, half siblings are also thriving.
The colt was purchased by another boarder, who named him Halston. The filly - who is looking more black and less buckskin every day - is still available.
Good girl, Kourvy. That baby was worth every minute of the very long wait.

OMG, Wee is adorable! As are Halston and no-name filly. I want to hug them all...
