Grinchy birthday

The mailman delivered a package yesterday. Seth brought it in and placed in my hands. "You got a birthday box!" he exclaimed.

"Is it from Littleton?" I asked. I still haven't received Olive's tail, and not having it has been weighing heavily on me.

"Not unless Littleton has moved to Niagara Fall, New York," said replied.

"Niagara Falls?" I repeated. "I don't know anyone there."

I opened the box, and a handful of stickers fell out.

This one made me cry.
I dug a little deeper and found a Grinch and a note.
Oh! My mystery gifter was Canadian tack maker and miniature artist, Terri Wright, shipping through Niagara Falls because of the Canadian Postal strike. She made a handful of these needlefelted Grinches for Christmas, and I had told her how much I liked them when I bought one of her Christmas on Mane Street offerings.
Thank you so much, Terri. That was really thoughtful and A+ timing. I love the Grinch, and I am excited to have him for next this year's Advent photos.
