Registration for NaMoPaiMo 2025 has been open for a little more than a day, and already, seventy eight people have signed up to paint a model horse in February.
In keeping with tradition, I am sharing an illustrated version of my sign up here. My name is Jennifer Buxton. I am fifty six years old, and I live in the United States of America.
I consider my skill level to be (semi) advanced amateur, and I have participated in all the previous NaMoPaiMo's, with varying degrees of success.
This year, I will be painting an Alexandra Glinkina Donut resin. The goal is bay pintaloosa, and he will be a mixed media piece, with heavy emphasis on acrylics and pastels.
Beyond painting, I am looking forward to a month of education, excitement, encouragement and - most of all - community. I have had enough of January. Can it please be February now?
