The candy prep

Last night I went over to Heather's house for dinner.

We ate and talked and played with the cats.

Of course, I also spent some time ogling Heather's collection.

Her horse room/office is a treasure trove of amazing things.

I always find something new to look at.

Sigh.

All that good stuff aside, the actual purpose of the visit was to help Heather get ready for next weekend's CandyLand Live show.

We counted rosettes...

and giant gummy bears.

We sorted the "ribbons"...

and assembled and filled the exhibitor gift boxes.

There are so many fun things in these boxes.

Contents include friendship bracelets made by Heather Jackson-Lain...

and - what else? - candy.

Ready for show day!

The same can not be said for me, but having seen some of the prizes, I am feeling a little more motivated. 

I'd really love to add one of these trophy halters by Dani Boiko to my collection.

Specifically, I think Olive would look great in this one.

I have just under a week to finish prepping my ten entries. Can I do it? Only time will tell!
