If this blog was a person, she'd be getting her driver's license today.
Why do I keep at it, day after day,
month after month,
year after year?
Normal people do not do this. Why am I like this?

Instead of asking why, I am leaning into it. For whatever reason, this is working for me. I have found my community, and truly, that community is the reason I am still writing this blog sixteen years later. It doesn't matter whether or not we've met in person. You cheer for me when life is good and hold me up when times are hard. This year, you literally helped me save my horse's life.
And you never, ever, ever get tired of hearing me talk about horses.
I write this blog for you, for me, for us. Thank you.

I want to say my sincerest thank you - this blog gave me a glimpse of a hobby beyond my childhood carpet herd, helped me envision what I wanted my hobby life to look like, and let me take the plunge into becoming an adult hobbyist. I've met so many wonderful people, made friends, had fantastic experiences, and am going to keep on going. Thank you for sharing yourself and your joys with us, and thank you for being a pillar of the community.
