Today's NaMoPaiMo Champion of the Day is Canadian artist, Twyla Wehnes.
Twyla's model is an older Eberl resin, and like most older Eberls, it was riddled with pinholes. I despaired when Twyla shared this photo a week ago. February is a short month, and that's a huge prepping job. I did not think this one would make into the starting gate, let alone cross the finish line.
But look! I was wrong! Twyla shared this photo today. Her foal is prepped, primed and ready for paint.
Congratulations, Twyla, and good job to everyone who worked on their models today. I can't wait to see what we all do tomorrow!

Ahh... love seeing the WIP pics! I don't have FB, so I keep up through the blog. My model is in basecoats, but there is an issue on the rise with him, oh well. Won't go down that rabbit hole. Loving Pluto so far!
ReplyDeletetoday my model fell again, (the cat is to blame this time) and so once again I break out the super glue and the apoxie...
ReplyDeleteOh Emily! I hurt for you!
