NaMoPaiMo exists because of this blog. I wanted to create a fun and educational event so that I would have something to write about during the least eventful part of the year.
It worked. To date, I have written over three hundred posts with the tag "NaMoPaiMo."
An unexpected but delightful side benefit is that many of my favorite fellow bloggers have also been inspired by my little event; Field of Dolls, Horsie Mama, Horse Tender, Dust Ponies, Timaru Star II... and this year's NaMoPaiMo blogging champion, Danelle Feldman of Feldman Studio Blog. Since January, Danielle has been carefully documenting the creation of her 2022 NaMoPaiMo model, Rebel Just For Kicks.
but today - finally! - she is ready to start painting.
It's been such a treat watching this horse come to life, and Danielle has done such a good job of explaining each step of the process. In addition to being the NaMoPaiMo blogging champion, she is also today's NaMoPaiMo Champion of the Day.
Congratulations, Danielle and good job to everyone who worked on their models today. I can't wait to see what we all do tomorrow!
