For the last four years, I have been a member of Anne Field's Field of Dolls Miniatures Club.
In exchange for a small monthly payment, I have received a package from Anne every three months or so.
It's always a delightful surprise.
And while some items are more useful than others, I can honestly say I've enjoyed every offering.
This little Lego table is one of my absolute favorites.
This month I received a plastic curio cabinet.
Its shelves are just a little too small for most of my Maggie micros and Mini Whinnies, but my tiny railroad horses fit just fine.I have other model model horse shelves, but none with glass doors. These are especially appreciated because, as we all know, there are a lot of cats here.
Sadly, this is the last installment of the Field of Dolls Miniatures Club. Due to rising costs and increased demands on her time, Anne has decided to discontinue this service. I understand, but also, I will miss getting some new, unexpected and tiny in my mailbox every few months. Thank you, Anne, for all the tiny things. It's been a great four years!

I'm late to the party (computer issues) but I wanted to comment anyway.
ReplyDeleteI always thought that joining the miniatures club would be fun but I never did.
I guess if you want to do something, do it.
DON'T WAIT, you may not get the chance if you do!
I think most hobby things are like this, or at least those produced by individuals rather than companies. They only last for so long, so you've gotta get 'em while you can.
