Therapy halters

I used to spend a lot of time thinking about making tack.

Whenever I was standing in line, sitting in traffic or lying in bed, my mind would be busy thinking of how to make things, and then, how to make them better.

I don't remember exactly when I stopped doing that, but it's been a while.

A long while.

These days, I don't need any extra mental challenges. Instead, I turn to tack making when I need a distraction - something to keep my hands busy and my brain occupied while I deal with other things. Because of this, I tend to gravitate towards easy projects - things I know how to make, things I can finish in one sitting.

So halters.

This week, I've made a lot of halters.

Two of these are gifts. The other two are for my personal collection.
Chunky halters for chunky ponies.
I always feel like a loved horse should have its own halter.
These are definitely loved ponies.
The next halter is going to be a sales piece. I'm going to offer it to my subscribers on my Ko-fi page. If that's you and you're interested, be sure to keep an eye on my Ko-fi page. I'm aiming for tomorrow, but we'll see.
