Election day

I texted Seth as I was leaving work yesterday to tell him I'd had a long day and was heading home. His response was, "Let's take our ballots to Senor Rics and vote." That sounded like a great idea, so that's what we did.

This morning I took our completed ballots to a drop off box located at a recreation center right next to the barn. 

It was so close, I seriously considered taking Olive with me. That would have made for a great picture, but not on a day as windy as this. Maybe next year.

Thank you, Colorado, for making it so easy to vote, I actually could do it with my horse.

Once that was done, I went to the barn.

A few years ago, I wrote an election day post filled with pictures of my models covered with tiny "I Voted" stickers. I thought it would be fun to recreate the scene, this time in full scale.

An attempt was made.

Olive wasn't into it.

Good enough.
