Election day

I texted Seth as I was leaving work yesterday to tell him I'd had a long day and was heading home. His response was, "Let's take our ballots to Senor Rics and vote." That sounded like a great idea, so that's what we did.

This morning I took our completed ballots to a drop off box located at a recreation center right next to the barn.
It was so close, I seriously considered taking Olive with me. That would have made for a great picture, but not on a day as windy as this. Maybe next year.
Thank you, Colorado, for making it so easy to vote, I actually could do it with my horse.
Once that was done, I went to the barn.
An attempt was made.
Olive wasn't into it.
Good enough.
Happy Election Day to my fellow Americans. Please don't forget to vote.

  1. I think it's easier to put "I voted!" stickers on cats. The sticker easily sticks to their fur, and sometimes they don't even realize it's there. My poor kitty!
PS: It was durned windy in California today, too (and rainy)! I'm sure my horse is out there standing in the thick of it.

  2. It only now occurred to me that with drop-off ballots, we don't get stickers (in my county). :( We have voted since 2019 stickerless. Maybe I should make some.

    1. All registered voters in Colorado get mail ballots, and all those ballots have stickers. It's great.
