I haven't bought a lot of hobby items this year, but I was unable to resist this selection of 1:9 scale stable items sculpted and printed by Jake Heaps of Break the Mold Studios.
I bought one of everything, which included two Jolly Balls Orbs, one inflated, one not...
and a full grooming kit with extras. The quality on these items is very nice. I expect they'll be fun and easy to finish.
I also appreciate the info sheet on 3D resin. My house has a lot of windows, so I'm definitely going to get these in primer ASAP.
If you're looking for stocking stuffers that won't break the bank, I strongly recommend Break the Mold Studios.

About how much did all this cost all together? I am interested in these fine miniatures. Perfect scale!
ReplyDeleteThere is a link to Jake's website in the last sentence of the post. You can see the prices (and place an order!) there.
DeleteThank you! I checked out the site(super cool!) But I'm afraid I am going to have to save some cash back...heehee! I buy to many craft supplies. Thanks again and Merry Christmas!🙂
DeleteAlso I just spent maybe two hours reading your tack tips section. 🤣I think it's super generous of you and other tack makers to share your trade secrets. I was wondering if anyone had a tutorial for quarter sheets and blankets, other than Desktop Stables(I really love her blog btw,) Thank you!
DeleteThank you so much for showing off my sculptures! I admire your work so much, so to see mine on your blog is super cool! Can't wait to see what you do with them!
