Hobby day + dogs

More often than not, I work on Saturdays, but not yesterday. I took that day off to attend Fabian Rodriguez's Trunk or Treat swap meet and early dinner at Cinzetti's restaurant in Northglenn, Colorado.

Unfortunately, not all workplaces are as accommodating. I picked Angelo up after their work day concluded, and we were just able to make the tail end of the swap meet part of the event.

We had just enough time peruse the offerings and make a few drop offs...

before everyone headed inside...

for a big group meal.

Look at all of us!

The food was plentiful and the conversation lively. I could have stayed forever, but as always these days, I had horses to attend to. We swung by Angelo's house on the way to the barn to pick up Tang. He had a fun time snacking with Sage...

and meeting Luna.

Then it was back to my house to pick up Piper and onto the Belleview Station dog park with its attached beer garden.

This was such a busy and fun day.

I can't wait to do it again - dog and pony parts, too - in October.
