Emma day

August 1 is Colorado Day. On this day in 1876, President Ulysses S. Grant formally admitted Colorado as the thirty eighth state in the Union.

August 1 is also Emma Day. On this day in 2013, my vet sent Emma her first ever birthday card.

She's fourteen now.

That's a little too old for sticks, so this year, she got a pile of toys...

and a disgusting but apparently tasty dog beer.
