Cendre O'Caroll shared this information about the model horse hobby in France: In France we're few, a little community of about 30 active people. We don't have Breyers in stores, and unfortunately no live shows.  We have some french artists in the hobby. I'm one of these as a sculptor/painter (Hauntedwood Corp.Studio), but the most famous are Laurence Cassin (tack and painting), Agnès Fichelle (painting), Sabrina Wojcik (painting) and Atelier Fraxinus (sculpting/painting).  People who collect Breyer here also loves to write "photostories". The most active community is the French forum "Unmondedebreyer" (who means "aworldofbreyer") and Skyblog.  As a member of the forum, I would assure you that we are all reading your blog as a reference ;)  And we also all want to go to Breyerfest this year and claming "we're France, woohoo... almost" because the model they choose (Ardenne draft horse) is a Belgian horse in fact (and I'm from Belgium but I live in France and I can say: it's not the same).
