After Darcy's most recent medical misadventure, she had to spend a couple weeks wearing an e-collar.
Being the supportive dog mama I am, I made a miniature cone of shame...
and wrote a blog post mocking her predicament.
Now it's my turn to wear post-operative medical equipment.
If I had two good hands, I would have made my own miniature sling. Since that's not the case, I asked Anne Field to do it instead. Here is what she came up with:
It's worth noting that there is no mockery in Anne's world. Instead, the injured party is being treated kindness and respect.
I think Anne might be a nicer person than I am...

Anne the picture is awsome..

Jenn, this is so off topic but where do you get your gum tracacanth for your saddles..im makeing a saddle..i have $110 do you think thats enough.
ReplyDeleteRebekah
I buy it at either Tandy or the Leather Factory. If you don't have one near you, they do mail order. A small bottle of gum tragacanth will last you a long time and it costs less than $10!

Thanks,i get all my stuff from rio rondo..P.S how do you get the different colors on the outline Of the saddle or skirt??Like CK tiny tack??
ReplyDeleteRebekah
I wouldn't say 'nicer', just 'has a different sense if humor'. ;)
ReplyDeleteAwe! Anne sets a good example for her dolls, their sweet to each other! ;)
ReplyDeletelol
Hope you are feeling much better Jen!
Jen,i was wondering when you have a stone pony,do you use a classic bit or a traditional scal from rio rondo..
ReplyDeleteRebekah
For bits, I'd definitely go traditional, but then, I like big bits. Saddles are harder. The traditional pony models (Stone, CWP, Misty, Flash, Newsworthy, etc) are too small for a full traditional scale saddle tree but too big for classic. When I have an order for one, I always end up cutting down the traditional scale tree. It's a lot of work, but looks much more proportional when finished!

No, I really don't have any interest in shooting videos. My son does, but so far I think all he has posted are short clips of the dogs and rats.
DeleteI would love to be a good photographer but so far I'm not good at photographing moving things. :)
