Margaret's saddle

Hand pain and dye spills notwithstanding, I really enjoyed making Margaret's saddle.
The saddle came together smoothly...
and easily passes the "I want to own it" test.
Tomorrow I'll make the girth and bridle, then it's back to Danielle's harness!

  4. That particular doll is a customized Breyer. All work was done by Jane Schneider of Glyn Haven Studios. I don't believe Jane is taking orders right now, but you can find some other wonderful riding dolls by perusing Model Horse $ales Pages. In particular, I would recommend dolls by Anne Field, Joan Yount, Darla Curtis and Sheri Wirtz.

    Good luck!
