I have my second parent teacher conference of the day in fifteen minutes, so today's post consists of a single picture. This is Tiffany's classic scale pony all purpose saddle. I am really pleased with the way it turned out!
Also--don't forget entries for the Reader Appreciation Raffle close tonight at midnight. I'll post the names of the winners tomorrow!

Beautiful as always. Tiffany sure has some pretty tack and I know you are getting some amazing models!
ReplyDeleteLovely! Lucky Tiffany!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute saddle! Tiffany is one lucky lady.
ReplyDeleteSquee I love it Gretel is crying cause I haven't finished her western set and Tiffany's pony is already getting an English set lol . Awesome as always Jennifer !
ReplyDeleteSince my yahoo email got messed up (more than a month ago) I haven't been to blogger hardly at all! I just caught up on what's been going on. *phew* I didn't miss your reader appreciation contest (thank goodness it's a leapyear!). Love the harnesses, the saddle rats, the saddle iguana, the new horses and as always your saddles (old and new, I love them all!)
ReplyDeleteStunning! I bet it looks adorable on the pony. I especially like the color combination.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful saddle and beautiful stand! Did you make the stand yourself? Any tips for those of us who might want to buy/make our own?
ReplyDeletevery nice! Lucky Gretel.

Cute saddle! :)
ReplyDeleteCute saddle! So realistic!
ReplyDeleteVery nice!
ReplyDeleteIs it based off the pattern of the one you said was not showable, or is it a teardown of that saddle!?
Regardless, you know how to make quick work!
Thanks everyone! This saddle was so much fun to make. I love the small size and old fashioned style. It will have safety stirrups eventually. I have to wait for them because I accidentally threw out the first pair (don't ask!).
ReplyDeleteLiz--the saddle stand was made by Carmen Robertson of Texas. She makes wonderful wooden props. I feel so fortunate to have two of her jumps as well as two of her saddle stands.
Terri--This is an all new saddle based on the old pattern. Last time I was going for a generic close contact look. This one is more like a kids stubben or courbette. It has a round cantle and short little flaps.
So cute! Love the differently colored panels- looks just like a schooling saddle :)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous little saddle! I love that color combination.
ReplyDeletetoo cute!
ReplyDeleteLove it! im such a sucker for ponies! cant wait to see what your end of the trade is!
ReplyDeleteLove, as always!!! Someday I buy a saddle from you!!! Heck, the whole kit and caboodle! =)

ReplyDeleteShannon at Riversong....
