Squee!

Sometimes it's good to be me.
This adorable little Pixie arrived yesterday, and I just can't stop looking at her.
She is cute from every angle!
Pixie was sculpted by Sarah Minkiewicz-Breunig and was painted by Danielle Feldman.
Minkie babies.
Thank you so much, Danielle.  I love my new baby!

  4. How are you supposed to get anything done with so much cuteness around?

  6. Oh, she's absolutely beautiful! I wonder, though... is that raised/textured surface much more difficult to paint than a smooth surface? It must have its own set of challenges.

  7. Liz, just happened to catch your comment. The fuzzy coat surface was actually alot of fun to paint. Requires a bit of a different approach, but it was a fun challenge to make a hard fuzzy surface look like a soft fuzzy surface. Sarah really did an amazing job sculpting this baby.

  8. A fine day to be you. Someday most of your collection will go missing and on that day, I want you to remember that they are not in Wisconsin and I didn't do it.

  11. Danielle, thank you for responding! I'll stick to painting my nice, smooth-bodied models in the meantime, haha. You did a wonderful job showing that soft baby-fuzz texture and color. I'm heading over to your blog now to check out your other stuff. Cheers!
