It's not easy winning a performance championship in Texas, so tackmaker, Vicky Norris, knew she had to bring her A-game to this weekend's A Midwinter Night's Ball show in Georgetown, Texas. The weapons in her arsenal included a pair...

This mare had a good show...
but she was upstaged by Vicky's other all-arounder.
This is Bold Zippy Red, a new Scholarship resin sculpted by Kitty Cantrell and Carolyn Boydston and painted by Carolyn. His harness was made by me.
Here he is again in Western...
and English. He wore a BCS tack set...
throughout the English division...
and it helped propel him...
all the way...
to the Overall Custom/Artist Resin Performance Championship. Congratulations, Vicky, and thank you so much for allowing me to share your photos!
I had my eye on that Scholarship when he was first advertised, but I missed him then - however, I finally managed to acquire him from Vicky! Lovely to see photos from his previous career! ❤️
