We said goodbye to our sweet Nutmeg yesterday.
Nutmeg was our biggest,
quietest,
most cooperative rat...
and she was the star...
of nearly a dozen photo shoots.
It didn't matter how simple...
or complicated the task...
she never let us down.
Nutmeg was a really good rat.
I miss her already.

Awww! I'm so sorry. I feel like the loss of those little guys is just as bad as the loss of a dog or a horse. Sandy, my guinea pig passed away on March 27th at the age of 6 1/2, and it was awful. I miss her so much. I hope your boys are doing alright too. It's never easy.

I wish their lifespans were longer. :(
