Colorful Colorado

The Jennifer Show was held at the Arapahoe County Fairgrounds in Aurora, Colorado. This is way out on the Eastern edge of the Denver Metro Area, where the landscape is mostly flat and prairie-like.
It's not what most people think of when they think of Colorado.

The mountains are visible, but they're a long way from the show hall.
The weather in Colorado is always fickle, but we couldn't have picked a better weekend for our show. Temperatures were mild, and show goers were treated to an absolutely spectacular sunrise...

and equally amazing sunset.

It's a beautiful area, but I can't help but hope that some of our out of state visitors found time to take in some of Colorado's more iconic scenery.
Yesterday, Seth, Emma and I went for a drive in the high country.
We drove up...
and over Guanella Pass...
looking for fall foliage.
We found it!
Colorado is such a beautiful state! Start planning now for the Jennifer Show 2018, and don't forget to schedule a couple extra days to enjoy the local scenery.

  1. My boyfriend lives in Fort Collins, so I've visited Colorado twice this year. It really is beautiful, as a Long Island native it's completely different and I'm really starting to love it out there.
