Almost wordless Wednesday

It's been a while since I've posted a baby update, and I am happy to report that everyone is doing well and getting bigger and stronger with every passing day.  Today's photos show the three young 'uns and my own young 'un spending time together in Kenlyn's pastures.  I've also included a couple pictures of Mystyc because she's cute, too.  Enjoy!

  1. Wow. I can't believe how big Spring Fever has gotten. What is he being fed, Miracle Grow? I'm so glad so see he's doing well. The foals really seem to like James, don't they?

  2. Those foals are lucky to have so many playmates (both equine and human)!

  3. Oh my, it just melts me to see your son playing with the babies like that! They look like they are such good pals and all I can think is that those foals are getting such a good introduction to life with human beans. ; )

  4. Ooooh, I just LOVE that one of James tickling the bay colt under his chin. That is just priceless. But they're all great! I, too, am astounded at how big Spring Fever has gotten. Is he growing at a normal rate for an Arabian? It seems just a couple weeks ago that he looked like a baby and now he's practically a yearling!

  5. Spring Fever's always been huge. He came out big and has just grown and grown. I'm not an expert on Arab babies (or any kind of babies, for that matter), but I'm pretty sure he's one the high end of the bell curve. Fortunately, he has a big, strong mama who's more than up to the task of mothering him!
