Boring

Do you know what's even less exciting than girths?

How about stirrup leathers!
Or keepers! 
Or buckles! 
It's been a long, boring day in the studio, but tomorrow, I'm going to be thanking myself.  With all the prepwork done, those bridles will practically make themselves!

    Straps on saddle packs aren't very exciting either.

    Everyone always wants to know how to make the big things, but I truly believe that the best way to improve your tack is to spend lots and lots of time on the prep. It's boring but oh so necessary!

    I happen to LOVE your stirrup leathers, your keeps and your buckles. The straps and keepers are some of my favorite parts of your tack, though I love the overall piece as well.

    Strangely enough, I LOVE making stirrups and buckles. I guess making them fascinates me. Lol. How do you get your stirrups so shiny. I usually just bend grey wire for them, but I was wondering if nailpolish could make them silver again..
