Candy corn, take five

The great candy corn debate rages on. In the last couple weeks, this controversial candy has been taste tested by humans, horses, dogs, cats and now, goats and sheep. Thank you, Jackie Moore, for your contribution to our multi-species candy corn palatability database!

So, of course I had to give the goats a try with candy corn.  Because....science!

I had a mix of regular and autumn candy corn, plus pumpkins.

Rodney tried them:
Gumbo tried them:
Fred tried them:
Wilma tried them:
Betty tried them:
Even Blackie (she's a sheep) tried them:
Everyone gobbled them up at first, especially Rodney. However, they seemed to lose their appeal quickly and quite a bit was left on the table (including chewed pieces).

Goats are "meh" on candy corn. That's okay, it leaves more for me.

  1. I don’t know if it’s just me, but I can’t see the photos. There’s spaces with the captions where the photo would go, but it’s blank. All your other blog entries, the photos are there.
