I know, I know... It's another post about halters!
This one's different though. This time I'm going to give something away. Leave a comment on my blog sometime during the next week, and you will be entered to win a free halter from Braymere Custom Saddlery.
The winner can choose a leather stable halter,
a Western show halter,
an Arabian show halter,
or a light breed show halter.
Entries close at midnight, December 19th and the winner will be announced here bright and early Monday morning. Good luck and hope to hear from you soon!

ReplyDeleteI probably would have left a comment even without the incentive! How about us folks who aren't registered with blogspot, should we register so you can keep track of who's who?

ReplyDeleteI found your blog months ago while searching for instructions. My nieces had been asking for tack for their horses and I have been hooked on the BCS blog since.

Yours is the one blog I check every day, informative and full of great eye candy. I need to order some stuff someday, but my arabs could sure use a new halter :)
ReplyDeleteBev
Been so busy I haven't read your blog in a few days! Glad I looked!
ReplyDeleteI Love your blog. I read it almost everyday. It's one of the best model horse ones I have seen and it has given me several ideas for my own tack making. I've always loved making stuff in miniature and horses are in my blood so I decided to put them together and I love it. I'm making my first English saddle out of leather (I've made two western saddles out of felt and misc stuff I found around my house including making my own trees from clay). This saddle is smaller than a quarter for a random little ( It's 2x2 inches!) horse I found that I used to play with a lot when I was little. But now I need to come up with a creative name like yours for my saddlery! Thanks!

I really enjoy reading your blog!

I adore your work, your blog and your inspiration!
ReplyDeleteYour blog is like an Advent calender for me but even better because it`s valid every day, doesn`t affect a gain in weight and brings tons of useful information related to big and small horses! In future I`d appreciate more postings about measuring for different types of tack, adjusting solutions (for things which aren`t feasible in scale/for "difficult" models), recommendations for the needed materials/tools and tricks in photographing and showing a model! (And don`t stop publishing the great reference pictures and your fantastic tack for orientation!) Kind regards, Doreen Z. from Germany
ReplyDeleteOooh, I wants a light breed halter! That's beautiful!! I love looking at your work, Jen. Thanks so much for sharing with us!
ReplyDeleteWow that is so sweet of you to host a raffle and give away one of your glorious halters! I love coming to your blog and drooling over the amazing tack! Thanks and keep up the good work!

Normally I'm such a saddlebred person but I have to say that stock halter is really a thing of beauty! Sometimes a great halter really does add a huge amount to the horse.
