Sweet relief

My NAN Auction tack set is finally, officially done! Yay!I delivered the tack to Jane today. She will make a saddle blanket and then send everything on to Kentucky.
Of course we had to take a few pictures of Officer Joe in the saddle. Thank heavens--everything fits together nicely.
Here's a look at the saddle with attached saddle bag, baton and baton holder.
I am so relieved to have that behind me. Now I can relax a bit and enjoy the summer!

  1. I'm delighted with how things look! People the tack is just SUPER in person! It was delightful to have your very well-behaved young men come and see my animals too :-)

  3. Great job, Jennifer! The whole thing looks fantastic. The rider sits very naturally, too.

  4. Thanks everyone! I am pleased with how it came out.

Jane, my kids are still talking about your bunny. He was a big hit. You can see pictures of the three of them on my other blog.

Carol, Jane gets ALL the credit for the doll. I know she customized his butt and legs so that he'd fit in a saddle better. Wouldn't it be great if all dolls sat that well?!

  7. ZOMG Jen! I love it! I especially love the little eye shield for the horse; that's just too cool! Wish i could bid on it, but being a broke college student doesn't lend itself to NAN auctions, unfortunately... =(

    Great job though! love it!
