Tag yourself

Bobbie Allen is one of my dearest friends. She's stayed at my house, I've ridden her horse, she's ridden my horse. You would think I know what she looks like, right?

Maybe yes, maybe no.

Facial recognition has never been my strong suit. I do okay most of the time, but nothing is guaranteed in heat and hustle of BreyerFest. In 2019, I walked right past Bobbie without recognizing her even after she said my name

It's been three years, and I still feel bad about that.
This is why I love name tags.
I am especially fond of aesthetically pleasing, handmade name tags.
But really, even a "Hello, my name is..." badge is much appreciated.
I scanned the template, added a bridle and used colored pencils to make it a portrait of Sprite.
This year, I used that same image, this time with alterations to the ears and mane.
Here's a blank copy for anyone else who'd like to use it.
Thank you so much, Lesli, for letting me share that here.
I can't wait to see you and your name tag this week in Lexington!
