Pictures from today's rides

It is disgustingly hot this weekend.

In an attempt to beat the heat, Mary Jo and I got up at dawn and headed to the barn for an early morning trail ride. My mount was Therese's good mare, Delilah, who was obviously excited about this plan.

It's been a long time since I rode Delilah, but she hasn't changed a bit.

She was her usual forward self on the trail so I spent most of the time riding with two hands. Still, I managed to take a few pictures.

Funny, I don't remember her ears being this small.

After our ride, I hopped up on Olive bareback to putter and practice neck reining.

This right here is the proper ear size.

She's so cute.

How can I possibly leave her?
