Birthday Breyers, part one

Two days ago, I received a big box of prize models from Breyer. I immediately stopped what I was doing, and spent the next hour unboxing and oohing and ahhing over every single horse. It was great.

Yesterday, the same thing happened again. I received another box of beautiful, brand-new Breyers. It was like a childhood dream come true, and I enjoyed every minute of unpacking and documenting the PonyBytes herd.

But here's the thing: As much as I've enjoyed receiving all these models, I don't actually need to own them, at least not all of them. I could sell them, I suppose, but it's more fun to give them away. My birthday is coming up, and I can't think of a better way to celebrate than giving away a bunch of models.

The first giveaway is open to everyone, and all my usual blog giveaway rules apply. From now until the end of the contest period, every comment left on this blog will equal one raffle entry. Old post, new post, multiple posts--it just doesn't matter. All comments count, but if you're posting anonymously, be sure to include your name. Entry ends at midnight January 17, and the winner will receive the Thirtieth Anniversay Stablemate set.

There's an additional bonus if the winner is signed up to paint during NaMoPaiMo. In that case, the stablemates will arrive with a sampling of NaMoPaiMo goodies, including stickers, medallions and maybe a paintable model or two.
