Last week wasn't all bad, but it was complicated enough to bring progress in the studio to a standstill. I am hoping to be much more productive this week. In an effort to reach that goal, I spent several hours preparing and dyeing lace today. I also got a head start on Danielle's bridle.
On a side note, this Cooper resin has been languishing on my project shelf for several years. I've been in no hurry to have him finished, but suddenly I'm thinking he needs a bright chestnut coat, a big blaze and three white feet!

I think he would look brilliant in that color :)
ReplyDeleteI hope he'll look brilliant *and* more than a little like Rev!
ReplyDeleteI am getting too girly as I get older- is it bad the first thing I noticed was the awesome pink background? :D
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see the new colors!
Thanks to someone who shall remain nameless, I have a lifetime supply of pink fleece in my studio. Sometimes it gets pressed into service as background material.

Cooper would make a perfect Rev! You should do it!
ReplyDeletePink fleece? Awesome! Can't wait to see what you do with him!
ReplyDeleteThe pink photo backdrop makes much more sense given the nameless. I have a red Christmas tree cloth made from excess fleece, once bought for use on a harness. I never thought hot pink would look good on a chestnut, yet, under nameless influence, it might...
ReplyDeletenameless? more like infamous!
ReplyDeletewell its a start and you are going in the right direction the question is will he make a stop on the problem pony shelf before you can paint him?
ReplyDeleteLooking good!
ReplyDeleteHa, that pink background had me suspicious also--looks like I'm not the only one!
ReplyDeleteI always see Cooper as a chesnut. :)
ReplyDeleteEmily Dunnan
