It seems I will have to wait a few more days to see my Lone Star in person, but I did get some nice preview pictures from Liesl today.
"Letter to Laredo" is my first horse from Phaze Studios but he won't be the last. I just love a good chestnut, and Liesl is a master at capturing the subtle nuances of that color. The perfectly executed overo pattern is icing on the cake. I could not be more pleased with the finishwork.

Hi Jennifer! I am so sorry that he is so late... sigh... my own auction donation completed erased my memory to get anything out on time! He should be arriving VERY soon... Monday I hope! I can't wait for you to see him in person!
ReplyDeleteLaredo did arrive today (Monday) and Liesl is right--even better in person. He couldn't have come on a better day, really. I have spent hours fighting with my NAN Auction saddle and was in serious need of a pick-me-up. Thanks Liesl!
