After I posted pictures of Champaign Toast's updated hairdo, his former owner, Lynn Isenbarger, contacted me and asked if I would like his vintage tack set. I said yes, and it arrived yesterday.Lynn had thought this was made by Tiffany, but Tiffany told me that she bought it from someone else. It's signed "CHF" on the lower flap, and I'm hoping someone here can tell me who that is.
It's a nice little set and looks great on Champaign Toast. If I'm ever lucky enough to find another show with a Retro Performance class, this will definitely claim a spot on the table.
In a note that came with the tack, Lynn let me know - in the nicest possible way - that I've been misspelling Champaign Toast's name. It's not "Champagne" like the sparkling wine, but "Champaign" like the town in Illinois where she held Lincoln Land Live so many years ago. I love wordplay, and I've never been so happy to be corrected!
Also included in the box, was a hand made face mask.
Lynn says this is her favorite fabric, and I can see why. It's so cute. I unfolded it here so everyone could appreciate the cuteness.
Thank you so much, Lynn. This box - and your daily blog posts - really brightened my day.
