Preview of coming attractions

The Jennifer Show is coming, but between now and then, I will attend no less than five shows, two as a judge and three as an entrant. All three of the entrant shows have performance divisions. This is notable because in the (almost) ten years I've maintained this blog, I've rarely had the opportunity to show performance more than once a year. Three times in the space of seven months is unprecedented and amazing.

The first show, which takes place in early October, has a very standard performance classlist.
The other shows - Renae Grinlaubs Clash of Colors and Battle of Breeds and
Heather Malone's Candyland Live - have really innovative and unique performance divisions.
I have been jonesing for this kind of showing opportunity ever since I published Sarah Townsend's guest post on alternative model horse shows. I have some great ideas for Breed Specific performance classes and open ended performance prompts such as "Wheels" and "Pink!" Show prep is perhaps my favorite part of performance showing. It's going to be a great time for me!
