HAH! On my floor today I lost a fancy pewter bridle buckle. Took 20 minutes and me crawling on my stomach with a flashlight to find it. Even went through an entire box of stuff thinking it had bounced into there. *sigh* I feel your pain...
Happens to me all the frelling time. Straps lost in the scrap pile, buckles lost in the carpet under my desk (I once found one that had somehow made it all the way over to my dresser), glue caps that vanish without a trace. Most vexing.
I was looking at your photos of harness, if you ever want ANY reference photo's or pointers on them feel free to contact me I have a whole arsenal of harness at my disposal and much experience showing particularly pleasure driving. I thought I would mention, you noticed the "box" type keepers on the harness of the welsh pony. If that were in a "real" competition a lot of judges do not like that because it's considered "amish" decoration not show, which would have been regular keepers instead of the box type. I have that pointed out all the time on our one fancy show harness by judges.
Sydney--I do have two pleasure harnesses that I will be building this winter/spring and I would *love* the input--Pictures/info whatever! And if you're really motivated I would happily give you a guest blogger post or two to share that info with everyone who reads this blog.

ReplyDeleteI think I see it. I have a pretty good eye for finding things in a mess.
ReplyDeleteI lose all sorts of little things in the carpet in my room here.
My nemesis is sewing needles that fall into the carpet. I usually find them but never where I think they should be.
